Create Your Own Creature Contest - Started

So it's finally started, the contest we've been talking about for awhile. This one is actually pretty simple and easy, you don't even have to be an excellent artist - or an artist at all - to have a chance at winning...it's all about the creativity. The goal of this contest is to, as the title says, create your own creature

Your submission can be anything as long as it is all your own. It can be a drawing, a painting, cosplay, photomanipulation, description, or anything else you can think of.
The creature must be all your own. You can't just create a variant or subspecies of something that already exists.
Your submission must include the following - this can be in the description of your deviation, or in the deviation itself if you're submitting text: Species Name, Average Lifespan, Diet, Sexual Dimorphism (if any), Behavior, Breeding (optional), and anything else you can think of that's important. If you're only submitting text you'll have to include more than that, though, particularly appearance.
You can work with others on this, but if you win only one of you will get the prize. Decide who will get the prize in advance and make sure everyone else involved knows that only one of you will be rewarded.
Submit your entries to the groups Contests folder.
The contest will end September 30th - that should give you plenty of time. After the contest ends submissions will be listed in a poll by Violently-Chaotic and open to your vote.
